Alienzo was established in March 2004, through the integration of two professionals with long experience in M&A financial advisory services, into Analistas Financieros Internacionales (AFI), one of the leading Spanish independent consulting firms, specialised in strategic and financial advisory services.

AFI is a Spanish private firm founded in 1987. AFI’s consulting services have expanded from financial markets and risk management consultancy to advisory services and providing training to both financial and industrial corporations, as well as developing IT products related to finance. Over 120 professionals based mainly in Madrid, provide services in the following areas: Bank Analysis and Consultancy Services; Economic Research; Financial Markets Research; Public Administration Financial Advisory Services; Education (Escuela de Finanzas Aplicadas) and Corporate finance.

The M&A team is formed by four fully dedicated professionals who draw support as needed from the other professionals within the firm, in their respective areas of knowledge.
